I have worked as a licensed, ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist (Or Speechie for my fellow SLPs) since 2011. I have experience in private practice, home treatment, as well as private and public schools. In my years of practice, I have mostly worked with children.
I recently self-published my first children's book, Sammy Goes to Speech. I am beyond excited to share it with the world and help more families.

I've included a picture of my writing buddy, Banksy, for good measure.
This AMA is based on my personal opinions and experience, and is not intended to diagnose or treat. Please refer to researched, peer reviewed sources as necessary for more information on communication disorders.
If you have specific questions about your own child, please seek out a licensed speech-language pathologist in your area.
If you're curious about more highly technical questions on the topic of speech therapy treatment or evaluation, check out ASHA.org. It is a wonderful resource. I may choose not to answer questions that are outside my realm of expertise, but I will try to guide you to a resource to answer all of your questions!
